I have been a full time freelance translator, reviewer, copywriter and intercultural consultant since 2007, working from English, French into Romanian. My goal is to help clients communicate effectively and accurately with their designated target Romanian audiences and achieve their business goals. I tackle various content from a number of specialty fields, including Medical/Life Sciences, IT, Marketing, Business, Education, Logistics and Automotive. I approach all translation and copywriting tasks with the client’s purpose and the target audience’s expectations in mind, which means that my texts are always adapted to all the requirements of a specific task.

I hold an MA in Translation Studies and Terminology (2007 – English, French and Romanian) and a BA in Applied Language Studies (2006 – English, French, Romanian) from Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca and I am a PhD candidate in the field of Romanian Linguistics.

In 2019, I began organizing TranslateCluj, a CPD event dedicated to language professionals together with a team of amazing freelance linguists.
